run by OSHA, the United States workplace safety regulator. This is a United States regime: certification shows that a product meets the requirements of the OSHA electrical standards for both general industry and construction. Each laboratory is recognised for a defined scope of test standards and designates conformance with its own unique registered certification mark, which the manufacturer is authorised to apply once the product is certified. On an imported robot or component, that mark signifies the laboratory tested and certified the product against one or more applicable product safety test standards.
