UKCA marking

UKCA marking is the product marking used for goods placed on the market in Great Britain, meaning England, Scotland and Wales.

Official source: Glossary - Equipment and machinery - HSE →

It applies to most products for which the CE marking could be used, and the technical requirements to be met, sometimes called essential requirements, depend on the product-specific legislation covering the item. As a conformity assessment marking it must be visible and legible, and be accompanied by details such as the manufacturer's and, where required, the importer's address. Whether and for how long CE marking remains accepted in Great Britain for a given product is not established by the cited source.
